Verifyde is a Verification, tracking and fraud detection App designed for individuals and businesses who want to verify or get some pieces of information about the people they want to transact with or employ.

Hence, by using Verifyde App (Web or Installed) or agreeing to connect with another User or Business on the App, you have explicitly agreed that the other party whom you connected with can report any theft of physical items or loss of money or default of Contract arising from those connections and that these reports submitted by the individuals or businesses you connected with can be accessed by anyone who wants to know about you before engaging in transaction(s) with you using either your phone number or User Number or ID Card Number or your biometric like photo.

By using Verifyde Portal, you also agree that any person making use of the App can verify how your past transactions with other people ended using any of the credentials above anytime because all reports from your connections within the App are treated as public. Hence, explicit consent and agreement abides as long as you have registered your credentials on the portal. Any report made against you can be accessed by other Users of the App because all connections' outcomes are considered public. Don't accept any connection request if you do not consent to the above.

Verifyde only acts as an Intermediary between the two parties by providing them with a system to connect with each other with the purpose of exchanging items which can be tangible or intangible. The person who initiated the Request in most cases is the one who stands to lose if the transaction goes wrong and uses the system as a means to hold you accountable for the loss as well as to seek for means to recover his or her items/money directly or indirectly like tracking.

No one can report you on the App without your consent which is explicitly established when you connect with people for transaction purposes. All reports posted about you on the App came from the people whom you connected with and Verifyde doesn’t in any way alter the contents of those Reports.

In the event that you feel or think that the Report is malicious or does not truly reflect what went wrong or stolen or missing, you are the one to directly contact the person and settle all transactions amicably including restitution in the case of theft of physical items or repayments of funds stolen or seek for alternative ways to amend your contract terms to be a mutual reflection of both parties conclusive agreements.

However, in the event that you feel victimized from the Report and you cannot convince or persuade the individual or business that posted the Report to cancel it or update it to reflect exactly what transpired, then; you reserve the right to sue the person or business with your evidence and seek for damages if need be. By using Verifyde App, you and the person connecting with you agree that Verifyde is in no way liable for any Report written about any of you on the platform in the event that you feel or think it’s a false Report.

All Reports written about any User of the App can be closed (taken down from the general public who requested for information about your past dealings with others) either by the person who submitted the Report or a Court Order Injunction presented by either of the two parties invalidating the Report and requesting that the Report be closed.

All Court Order Injunctions presented to Verifyde must be verifiable and applicable Verification fee will be made known to the person who submitted the Injunction. The stipulated Verification fee must be paid first and after verification of the Injunction, the Report can be closed depending on the outcome of the verification.

By using Verifyde App, every User agrees that he or she is 100% liable for all Reports submitted by him or her. In the event a User writes a fake Report about another person that is not connected with him or her (extremely impossible), that person or business who wrote the Report can be sued for libel, calumny or defamation by the affected party whose image or reputation might have been jeopardized.

Verifyde App (Web or Installed) makes use of location services for optimal User experience. In the event that you don’t want the App to access your location while using it, then; the service is not for you. During connection, both parties would be given access to the location of the person they want to connect with for transparency purpose less one party becomes a victim of false location transaction. The App can also track your location either directly or indirectly especially when there is a negative report about you like theft of physical items or absconding with money or breach of contract. All Users of the App must feel safe transacting with one another and that’s partly the reason the location service was implemented. Verifyde App may also use cookies for awesome User experience like auto login functionality.

Use of Information Collected From Users

We (Verifyde) don’t sell your profile information to any third party service provider(s). All pieces of information collected about Users during Registration and profile update are meant solely for verification purposes and for those who will be transacting with you to know your real identity so as not to be victims of false personalities unknowingly.

We don’t collect and don’t store your Bank Verification Number (BVN),Bank Account Number and the location the Account was opened. However, you are expected to provide the name of the Bank and the Account Name you used to pay for subscription payment for verification purpose. If you get any request for BVN or Bank Account Number or Credit/Debit Card Number as purportedly coming from Verifyde for Account verification, please; don’t give them out, because that person is a scammer. The App only requires one valid government issued ID card like NIN/SIN and your picture to verify and activate your account. Your selfie and consent verification video must contain only your picture and must not include the picture of another human being therein.

Subscription

It's 100% free to verify the identity of the people you want to transact with for a limited period of at least 30 days. In order to make the App always relevant to the trends of time, we (Verifyde) do charge small annual subscription fee afterwards and that must be paid to use the service.

We do not issue refund. Any amount you pay above the current year's subscription will be applied in subsequent year(s). Periodically within the year, you will be expected to complete Identity Verification test through the App and that’s part of Verifyde security mechanism to ensure safe transactions with whoever you choose to do business with on the platform. Failure to complete this periodic test will automatically restrict your access to use the App.

Inappropriate Content Posting

By using our platform, you agree that you will not post nudity content, contents that have the potential to hack our platform or use it to abuse or castigate people. Our platform must not be used to promote violence or discrimination of any sort. It is a criminal offence to submit any content that does not belong to you on our platform and you are legally responsible for all contents submitted by you. You also agree that you are of legal age before making use of our Services.


Feedback

There will be regular updates on The Application to enhance user experience and every update is free for all subscribers. Verifyde Terms and Policies can change anytime, so it is the legal responsibility of every subscriber to check our website for every detail. By clicking “I Agree” anytime you or any of your users if implemented wants to log in, explicit agreement abides.

We expect to receive feedback(s) from subscribers through the app, phone, email or by invitation and every feedback will be used to improve the Application’s performance and to enhance Customers' Experience.
